Paradise Lost - Milton 1669
John Milton
Paradise Lost : A poem in ten Books.
London : Printed by S. Simmons, and are to be sold by T. Helder at the Angel in Little Brittain, 1669.
The first edition of Paradise Lost appeared in different impressions dated 1668 and 1669, but it is now believed that some copies like this with the later date were actually issued first. The poem is better known in twelve book form, a change implemented from the second edition onwards.
